Letter on Herbert Hoover's personal letterhead dated April 19, 1935 several years after his unsuccessful re-election campaign for a second term as President. A special thank you note to a Mrs. Ruth Ackerman who, based on the letter, had a close friendship to President Hoover. The letter reads in part: "I want you to know that I deeply appreciate your most kind expressions and the friendship of which they are such evidence. Yours faithfully Herbert Hoover.
