    This is an original full size medal, not a reproduction. Rare item.
    A 1937 American Battle of Soochow Creek (China) Bravery and Valor Medal
    Medal in stamped bronze, 36mm, extremely fine. Created by members of the United States Fourth Marines as an ironic comment on the nature of their service as part of the Shanghai Defence Force, which protected the foreign concessions during other fighting in the area. This medal was awarded to a G. Roberts.
